Stat Planet
Stat Planet is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to view different statistics on different countries around the world. There are a variety of topics to choose from, and there is a lot of data for each topic. The site is easy to use, but hard top navigate to. I could possibly use this for other classes.
Bomomo
Bomomo is a Web 2.0 tool, which is basically for you if you have time you need to waste. This tool accomplishes nothing but make you laugh, waste your time, and make abstract art. I will not use this tool for academic purposes, but who knows, if I'm ever bored in a class, this may be the place to go.

What I learned this Year.
The one thing I'm glad I learned in this class is Quizlet. Quizlet is the one tool that actually helps me out with school. Most of the tools we have used this year I never see myself using in the future, and have never been a situation where any of those tools have been useful. The only tool that I may actually use is Photo Shop, but using it in class made me realize how much I dislike editing pictures, and how hard it was to do. Photo Shop takes a lot of practice to learn to use. I do not have anything in particular i hope to learn before the year is over, because I have no idea what we will be doing the rest of this year.

Comic Strip
Pixton is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to make a comic strip quickly and easily. My main complaints are that the cite requires somebody over 19 years old to confirm you email address in order for you to be able to save and/or publish your comics. I will probably never use this cite because it doesn't produce the best work ever.

QR Code
QRStuff is a webiste that allows you to create your own QR code quickly and easily. This literally took me 30 seconds to make. Anybody can do it if they want to. I don't know how much I will actually use this in my day to day life though. This is most useful for businesses or special events to use.

Swarm Robotics
The emerging technology
I have chosen to research is Swarm Robotics. Swarm Robotics is a new approach to the coordination of multi-robot systems which consist of large numbers of mostly simple and physical robots. So
it is pretty much using many small and
simple robots to complete a single task, such as construction. This technology
is still in the experimental phase, but has a lot of potential.
With Swarm Robotics could be used to do many things that
we can’t do today, or can’t do safely. It could be used for construction in an
environment too dangerous for humans. For example, it could be used to build
bases and settlements on the moon, so people could begin to colonize it. It
could also be used for construction on Earth. For example, if there was a tall
building being built, hundreds of lives wouldn’t be at risk while they were
building so high in the air.
Swarm Robotics has many strengths, as well as many weaknesses.
Some strengths that it has is that we could build in unsafe environments such
as space, without risking human lives. Some weaknesses it has are that people
may not trust robots to build a large structure like a skyscraper, and would
prefer it be built by human hands. The new technology would take time for the
world to get used to. It would be a very major change to make.
Swarm Robotics also has many opportunities, as well as threats.
Some opportunities it has are to replace humans working in construction all
together. Robots could be much more efficient and would not need to be paid. Some
threats to this are that people may not want robots taking jobs away from
people. This may increase the unemployment rate world-wide slightly. Also, the
technology needed to make swarm robotics a reality and a practical thing, just doesn't exist on the scale it would be required for this concept.
Overall, I like the idea of Swarm Robotics, as it could
revolutionize the way we build things around the world, but it could also take
jobs away from actual people. The unemployment aspect doesn't mean as much to me because I do not actually have a real “job”. Although the technology is only
in the experimental phase, I would love to see it being used in the real world
someday.

Cloning
Dipity is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to make a virtual timeline over any topic you want. It is really easy to use and i will probably use it at some point in time for a history class of some sort. It wasn't really fun to do but there are worse tools out there. Timetoast was the tool I was originally going to use, but it required account confirmation by email, and it took like 45 minutes to get the email from them.

Quizlet
Quizlet is a Web 2.0 tool that allowsw you to do many things. Whether it is making flash cards or playing a study game to help you in school. I see myself using this in the future, as i have used it since 7th grade. I think it is a very useful tool, that also has a free smartphone app, which I also have.

Photoshop
I recently edited this photo using Photoshop. Photoshop is a program that allows you to edit photos quickly and easily. It also looks very professional. I used only a few of the tools they have available like layers, colors, new adjustment layers, and the lasso tool. You can make any photo look really good and exciting in minutes. I personally don't like this program because I don't like editing photos very much, but that is just my personal preference.

PicMonkey
PicMonkey - I found this site to be very helpful and easy to use. My only compliant is that there are a lot of things you can't do without paying for it.
Pixlr - This site was for the most part easy to use, but I will probably not use it again because it is a little complicated to figure out.
iPiccy - This is without a doubt my favorite site that I used. It is not only easiest to use out of all of the sites, but it is completely free.
BeFunky - This website was for the most part pretty good. I have no complaints, but for some reason, I didn't like it very much.
piZap - This site was fine, but there was nothing that set it apart from the other sites that I used.
LunaPic - I found myself being overwhelmed by the amount of different effects there were, and they didn't look very professional.
Favorite: iPiccy
Least Favorite: LunaPic

Cloning Survey Analysis
Cloning Survey Analysis
When I received the results of my
survey, I was shocked at what I learned. For the most part, think it is wrong
and do not agree with it. Males like the
idea, but have little knowledge of the topic. The one thing I noticed is that
most people just don’t know anything more on the topic than that a clone is
exactly like the thing that was cloned. I was surprised because fewer people
knew about the topic than I had originally anticipated. I also learned that the
vast majority of people think that cloning isn’t a real issue. However, I wasn’t
surprised by this in the slightest, considering that I don’t think it isn’t an
issue either. The things I consider “issues” usually appear on the news more
than just when there is a breakthrough. Although there is a debate on if it is
right morally to clone humans. That specifically I would consider an issue.
Cloning Children's Story
ZooBurst is a web 2.0 tool that allows you to make a children's story over any topic you want! It is not the most user-friendly Web 2.0 tool ever, but I can't argue with the end results. It looks really nice and only took 30 minutes to make. If there are any different Web 2.0 tools out there, I would like to try them out because this one was quite frustrating. This is one of my least favorite Web 2.0 tools so far.

Cloning Glog
Glogster is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to make a digital poster quickly and easily. It is a little hard to do at first, but once you get the hang of it, its quite simple and fast. It is amazing how many different possibilities there are for different glogs. You can also view other people's glogs.

Wordle
Tagxedo is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to make something that closely resembles a Wordle, the difference is Tagxedo puts that words together to form a shape. Other than that, the two tools work exactly the same and are very easy to figure out how to use.

Cloning Survey
Google Form is a Web 2.0 tool you can use to create a survey, which you can then have others take, and get the results. You can then analyze the data and learn the things you need to know about the topic of the survey.

Bubbl.us
Bubbl.us is a Web 2.0 tool that allows you to organize your thoughts quickly and easily. The best part is that it is all online, so you don't have to worry about keeping track of all the pieces of scrap paper you right things down on that you need to remember. All you have to do is create a free account and get started! This tool is very easy to use and figure out how to do different things because there is a help center with answers to the most asked questions other people have.
